How long does livingsocial take to pay

Fast forward a couple of months and the credit is still sitting in my account and I decide to apply it to having the house pressure washed.

Because pressure washing is more expensive than gutter cleaning I have to throw good money after bad and apply more cash.

Pressure washing guy sets an appointment 2 weeks out, doesn't show, I have to track him down with 2 texts and 2 phone calls before I can get him to reschedule for the following Monday. Monday comes and I call him to make sure he's still coming and of course by the end of the day my house is still not pressure washed. I reach back out to Living Social and get the same malarkey about 3-day windows and Living Social credits which are virtually worthless.

The truly criminal thing is you cannot leave a vendor review if you have not redeemed a voucher for that vendor. Meaning there is no way to warn other users who may fall victim to the same scam.

Other than that automated response initially received, a contact option was offered if there were questions. The caveat was that to inquire about that product would have required LivingSocial acknowledgement option for that item. It was never offered. Only past purchases from months or years ago. No direct contact for my purchase was offered. After all research was done, no working phone or contact information was available.

Only an automated message during normal hours of operation indicating there is no availability for any customer direct or indirect customer service. No option to find out who the supplying vendor is or any direct recourse for the consumer other than going to your financial institution to dispute purchase or label as a fraudulent sale.

Based in Washington D. C, LivingSocial specializes in local deals. The site also includes a small shop with limited-time offers for merchandise and online stores. Accessible customer support: Both email and phone support are available. Clean interface: The navigation is simple and intuitive, and the site is devoid of unnecessary clutter. Expiration notifications: You can request e-mail notifications when a voucher is about to expire.

Vouchers retain value: If a voucher expires before you get to use it, you can still redeem it for the purchase price. Refunds: Refunds are available on some, but not all vouchers; and the refund terms vary from deal to deal.

In fact, when I received it, it turned out to not be as good as advertised. I no longer use it! There have also been other offers that have not come up to expectation. Tip for consumers: Be very careful about what you think may be a bargain!

Do not buy anything from this company! Tip for consumers: Move on - do not buy any bogus coupons here!!! I used to use Living Social a lot more, but lately I feel like they could have some better deals, as least in my location. Usually the things that come up for my "area" are not very close. I was thankful for their Cirque du Soleil discount though, and I got to enjoy the show.

Worst customer service between them and woucher who dont reply. Products faulty and they dont answer emails. Stay clear or you will loose your money. I can find the best deals in the nearby places on this site. There are a lot of fun things to explore and discover. Waiting over 3Months for an order and today they issued me a credit refund without any explanation. Tried what's app and after two hours they reply with "our contact center is currently closed". Various email sent over the last few Months but no satisfaction.

They are fraudsters sitting internationally completely having no physical existence all internet based and you can't complain to any one. Stay away from these buggers. Have you contacted the customer service at Livingsocial.

I have found them to be pretty responsive in the past. This is a seperate review site. There do seem to have been some financial problems with many of the deals from Living Social.

But when I had a problem they answered the phone and it was dealt with quickly and the goods resent. Me too i bought a voucher for a necklace and not recieved any confirmation but the money has come out of my bank account. I have bought from these before and never had this problem but i am worrying as i cant get through on the phone its dead!

I wouldn't buy anything! Their customer service is really really bad. They won't refund you either. Watchdog have been involved with lots of complaints. Just google reviews and you won't go near! Not sure who is giving good reviews here. Living social employees?! Never use living social - you should know by now they have a crooked business model. I live In the uk and it is a shame you sent these fraudsters from the USA to us.

Normally a percentage Can you imagine how many people they're doing this to around the world? Hi cindy, you should try groupon instead. Its been proven reliable to me as compare to living social. There refund policy is swift and approachable.

But yet again I can only tell you my experience as a customer with them, know nothing much about their relationship or policies with the vendors. Rip me off once, shame on you Rip me off twice, shame on me The item i purchased was completely misrepresented as to quality and material. I was supposed to be Stainless Steel and instead was a cheap chrome plated plastic piece of junk.

I am trying to get a refund, we'll see. I don't accept their "Final Sale" out on something that is so dishonestly described. It is living social's responsibility to make sure that items sold on their website be accurately and honestly described. If not then they truly cannot be trusted. LivingSocial is a leading "daily deal" site that sells discounted experiences and local services--restaurants, spa trips, home services, travel, etc. The consumer must pay for the voucher upfront, and the voucher generally must be used within a specified time period or it cannot be redeemed.

Add the same card again or a different card, then save your changes. Learn how to edit your payment information here.

Some things to keep in mind: If your credit card isn't working, you can try another payment method, such as PayPal. When you're using a group-buying site like KGB or LivingSocial, you may think your contract for what you're buying is with them. It's not - the contract is with whoever is supplying the product or service. However, those group buying sites do have certain responsibilities, such as ensuring that the suppliers they use can actually come up with the good and services in the time frame suggested.

LivingSocial, the daily deal website specialising in lifestyle experiences, seems to take its responsibilities seriously, as it makes a pledge that if a supplier fails to honour a voucher before the expiration date, LivingSocial will refund customers with credit for future deals. If only they always stuck by it. When Reece called Ministry Of Sound in November to book his place, he was told that the course was fully booked and was advised to call back nearer the time of the next course in February.

When he did so, Ministry Of Sound took his details but failed to get back to him with confirmation. Complaints to LivingSocial didn't do any good either. The February course came and went - and Reece's Christmas gift had become useless as the expiry date of the voucher had since passed. Reece received no experience and no refund, despite the promise on LivingSocial's website. It's a promise that has let other customers down too. Elizabeth Ludlow bought a voucher for a 'thrill-seekers' speedboat ride in December as a present for her son who was due to emigrate to New Zealand.

As the voucher stated it was valid through until June 11th , she assumed it could be redeemed straight away. Instead, he got a nasty surprise: when he went to book his ride, he was told they didn't even start until March, but which time he'd have left the country. Elizabeth has now waited three months for a refund and for LivingSocial to resolve the issue, and her son has since emigrated.

She, like other customers with similar experiences, wants to know why Vouchers are sold, redeemed and fulfilled exactly as advertised.
