I love visiting this doggie beach! I go once or twice a week to run on the big grass field and wade in the water???? Had my first swim here today! So much space to run around though! And a grassy area too???? Make sure your human keeps an eye on the others that are playing with you, some dogs can get overly friendly???? All the makings of an excellent dog swimming area, but is suffering from over-use.
The grassy area is a good size but is very worn and compacted in places and this is where the bindiis take hold. There is obviously more demand for this kind of place than Council is currently providing. Simply amazing doggie beach! Drinks at the Newport across the water were nice as well.
